We had a fantastic time at our Christmas Concert last Saturday, bringing our audience some festive cheer and getting excited for Christmas.
From the completely Christmas themed proramme to carol singing, from the tinsel and santa hats to Dave’s very seasonal T-shirt, a merry time was had by all.
The Christmas concert is when the Douglas Pope Trophy is presented by the Musical Director to the player who has made the best contribution over the year to the band as a whole. This year, Colin Whitbread was the worthy recipient. Colin took over as Band Chair earlier this year and has embraced the role with enthusiasm. Thank you Colin!
Colin took over from our outgoing Chair, Vanessa Phillips who was presented with a special gift to thank her for her services over the last few years. Thank you Vanessa!
Thank you also to everyone who helped to make this concert happen, including friends and family of the band, the Bisley community and the wonderful deps who come along to boost our numbers.
