The last year has been challenging for all of us in lots of different ways, and we at Almac Bisley Brass Band, like many other bands, have been missing being able to get together both for friendship and to make music. We have, however, stayed in touch via bi-weekly Zoom “get togethers”, and a small “garden group” has managed some intermitent gatherings when rules have allowed. But finally, we can start to look forward to getting back to rehearsals from May 17th 2021, and we need you! We are looking for new players in all sections, especially cornets and basses, and welcome players of any standard, including complete beginners.
We offer the loan of an instrument and tuition for anyone interested in giving it a go. No previous experience required. See here for more details. We will shortly be posting some stories from a couple of band members who did just that, so make sure to take a look.
