We had a fantastic evening at our Spring Concert last Saturday and the band was in good form to present our varied programme of music. From traditional brass band marches to musicals, from the Beatles to Disney, there was something for everyone, with a little bit of audience participation thrown in.
The Alan Pope Trophy is traditionally presented at the Spring Concert. This award is known as the “player’s player” award and this year was won by Gill Elliott on Cornet.
