We had a fantastic evening bringing you our Celebration of the Last Night of the Proms! The audience were brilliant and did not hold back with their flag waving and singing along, and the band sounded great.
We were lucky enough to have 3 solo performances during the evening. First up was Ben with his beautiful flugel rendition of An Ashokhan Farewell, immediately followed by an accomplished horn duet from Vanessa and Alastair. Finally, Graham enthralled the audience with his emotional performace of the Mass for Peace, Benedictus. Well done guys, you all smashed it!
Of course, a lot a work goes on behind the scences to put on a concert like this. We are always indebted to all of our helpers and supporters who make it happen.
